The Department of the Air Force is seeking innovative research to develop a Composable Collaborative Planning system to overcome the limitations of existing planning techniques. The focus is on addressing the Force Flow planning problem for Operation Plan (OPLAN) development, enabling parallel planning across diverse teams, and reducing planning time. Key aspects include dependency and assumption tracking, composable and collaborative planning framework, and sharing resources and context among planning stages. The project aims to analyze the impact of Contested Logistics on the time-phased force deployment list and provide a viable logistics tail for OPLANs.
