Description
The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) is seeking a vendor to replace problematic electronic sliding doors that provide kitchen access in Building 64 for the Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center. The selected vendor will be expected to remove existing doors, framework, and mechanicals, prepare openings, install new metal frames and doors, mount and connect mechanical opening devices, verify proper operation, and repair any damage to walls, floor, or ceilings that occur during installation. The contract term is expected to be from December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
• The vendor must have experience in performing the required type of service for at least 3 years.
• The vendor must comply with New York State Workers' Compensation and Disability Benefits Insurance requirements.
• The vendor must provide proof of insurance and licensing as stated in the document.
• The vendor must agree to be screened by OMH against the Staff Exclusion List and Statewide Child Abuse Registry List.
• The vendor must comply with the Omnibus Procurement Act of 1992 and the MacBride Fair Employment Principles.
