El Metro Transit Center Building Maintenance Project

The City of Laredo is seeking bids for the El Metro Transit Center Building Maintenance Project. The project includes general maintenance of the building, selective demolition, concrete flatwork, and HVAC air handler units. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Non-Collusive Affidavit and comply with all applicable provisions of the City of Laredo's Code of Ethics. The project has a construction contract time of 240 working days. Some key aspects of the project include: • Project allowances per project manual specifications • Selective demolition of project with temporary sidewalk barriers • Selective demolition of exterior masonry veneer on all floor levels • Concrete flatwork • HVAC air handler units, associated ductwork, chill water lines, and control system wiring • Repairs to building masonry veneer • Replacement of the HVAC air handlers, chill water lines, and introduction of new HVAC controls system • New public address system as part of the facility maintenance improvements The City of Laredo reserves the right to reject any bid and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process.
