METER,SPECIAL SCALE

The United States Navy is soliciting proposals for the manufacture of a special scale meter. The meter must meet specific requirements, including being free from mercury contamination. The contractor will be responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements, and the Government reserves the right to perform any inspections deemed necessary. The contract will be awarded to an authorized distributor of the original manufacturer's item. • The meter must be manufactured in accordance with the contract/purchase order and applicable documents. • The contractor must provide a signed letter of authorization as a distributor on the OEM's letterhead if they are not the original end manufacturer. • The contractor must ensure that all items meet the requirements of the contract/purchase order. • The Government reserves the right to perform any inspections deemed necessary. • The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the Government, considering factors such as price, technical capability, and past performance.
