Description
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) seeks an experienced pest‑management contractor to provide comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services across its campus. The contract is an indefinite‑quantity, firm‑fixed‑price award with a one‑year base period and up to five one‑year renewal options. Services include routine inspections, treatments, and emergency response for rodents, insects, and nuisance wildlife in residential halls, dining facilities, academic buildings, and specialized locations such as BWTech South. The contractor must supply all labor, materials, equipment, maintain electronic activity logs, and meet strict reporting, licensing, insurance, and green‑purchasing requirements.
• Provide three‑times‑per‑week pest‑control services (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) with 4‑hour emergency response capability.
• Perform specialized tasks: bed‑bug K‑9 inspections, pigeon control, drain cleaning, wildlife removal, and maintain exterior rodent bait stations.
• Deliver daily service reports, maintain electronic data portals, and comply with Maryland environmental and procurement policies.
