Taxpayer First Act (TFA) Fingerprinting

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking a contractor to provide Channeler services for fingerprinting as part of the Taxpayer First Act (TFA) program. The contractor will serve as a conduit to the FBI for processing authorized national noncriminal justice fingerprint submissions. The contractor will be required to manage electronic fingerprint captures, transmit data to the FBI, send background check results and Record of Arrest & Prosecutions (RAP) sheet data to the IRS, and store continuously updated data in a vendor-managed secure database. The required vendor capabilities include nationwide accessibility, a large federal customer footprint, Application Programing Interface (API) connectivity, and the ability to manage the entire fingerprinting process.
