Description
The project entails a small‑scale interior renovation of the GM CiTL building on the Washtenaw Community College campus. Work includes demolition, installation of new interior partitions, doors, windows, ceiling tiles, and associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire‑protection modifications. The bid is open to qualified general contractors who can provide labor, equipment, and coordination of subcontractors, and who can optionally submit a 3rd‑shift work alternate.
• Demolition of interior partitions, doors, millwork, sinks, and ceiling tiles; removal and salvage of existing fixtures.
• Installation of new interior walls, door frames (owner‑supplied), tempered windows, HVAC grilles, sprinkler heads, and updated electrical devices (lighting, data, fire‑alarm, door operators).
• Mandatory pre‑bid site walk‑through on March 11 2026; questions due March 18 2026; bid submission deadline March 23 2026 2 p.m. EST. Construction is slated to start May 6 2026 and finish July 15 2026.
