Description
The Ozark-St. Francis National Forests are seeking proposals for a campground concession special use permit to operate and maintain government-owned recreation facilities. The concession includes a campground with 36 campsites, day use area, swimming beach, boat ramp, and reservable pavilion. The successful applicant will be awarded the SUP in January 2027. Key aspects of the proposal include:
• Operation and maintenance of the campground and related facilities
• Provision of high-quality public service
• Submission of a business plan evaluation fee with the proposal
• Compliance with Forest Service procedures for evaluating concession operations
• A site tour is scheduled for October 8, 2025, with an RSVP required by October 3, 2025
