Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to design, develop, integrate, test, produce, install, and sustain a Degraded Visual Environment System (DVES) for the HH‑60W “Jolly Green II” helicopter, enabling real‑time terrain and hazard awareness in low‑visibility conditions. The effort includes a 24‑month base period and up to six 12‑month ordering periods, for a potential total performance window of eight years. Work spans research, development, test & evaluation (RDT&E), production‑kit fabrication (A‑Kit and B‑Kit), installation labor, travel, and extensive data deliverables (software, manuals, logistics plans, etc.). The contract will be a requirements contract (FAR 52.216‑21) with a mixed Cost‑Plus‑Fixed‑Fee and Firm‑Fixed‑Price structure, and requires CMMC Level 2 compliance, ISO 9001/AS‑9100 certification, and adherence to DO‑178C/D‑254 software and hardware standards.
• Provide full‑life‑cycle DVES hardware and software, integrated into HH‑60W cockpit displays.
• Deliver production kits, spare kits, installation services, and sustainment documentation across multiple ordering periods.
• Meet stringent certification (DO‑178C, DO‑254), quality (ISO 9001/AS‑9100), and cybersecurity (CMMC L2) requirements.
• Manage a 12‑month warranty, EVMS compliance, and provide extensive technical data packages.
