Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes for elevator inspection services at the Sheridan VA Medical Center. The contract period is from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2031. The selected contractor will be responsible for performing semi-annual and annual inspections, as well as five-year load tests, on various elevators and lifts. The contractor will witness and certify the tests performed by the VA Elevator Maintenance Contractor. The VA Elevator Maintenance Contractor will provide the necessary equipment and labor for the tests.
• The contractor must have current and valid QEI certification.
• The contractor must submit inspection reports and certificates to the VA Contracting Officer Representative.
• The contractor must coordinate with the VA Elevator Maintenance Contractor and the Contracting Officer Representative to schedule inspections and tests.
• The contractor must be able to perform inspections and tests during normal working hours, as well as outside normal working hours and on weekends if necessary.
