Description
The Department of Public Health is seeking information to inform the design of a statewide system for the Welcome Family program. The program aims to provide home visiting services to families. The department hopes that existing Welcome Family agencies, home visiting agencies, Early Intervention agencies, WIC local agencies, municipalities, and other agencies capable of staffing home visiting programs will respond to this Request for Information (RFI).
• The RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to procure any services.
• A subsequent Request for Responses (RFR) will be released when the department is seeking to procure and contract with agencies to initiate the service.
• The department is looking for information on the capabilities and experience of potential providers.
• The RFI includes questions about the respondents' experience with home visiting programs, their ability to staff such programs, and their understanding of the needs of the target population.
