6835--Bulk Oxygen

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide bulk oxygen to the West Texas VA Health Care System. The contract will include the supply of medical-grade liquid oxygen, rental of a 1500-gallon tank, and associated services. The contractor will be responsible for delivering oxygen every 21 days, monitoring tank levels, and providing emergency delivery services as needed. The contract will have a base period of one year, with four optional 12-month extensions. • The contractor must provide medical-grade liquid oxygen that meets or exceeds the standards cited in the current edition of the United States Pharmacopoeia/ National Formulary (U.S.P). • The contractor must deliver oxygen to the West Texas VA Health Care System, located at 300 Veterans Blvd, Big Spring, TX. • The contractor must provide a telemetry monitoring satellite system to automatically read the meter for deliveries. • The contractor must provide training to VA staff on the operation and maintenance of the oxygen system. • The contractor must provide quarterly reports of delivery dates and amounts to the COR.
