The contractor will be required to provide Forensic Grade Genome Sequencing (FGGS) and shotgun sequencing targeting 500K or more SNP markers, or WGS, for unknown samples. The contractor must also employ genomic refinement techniques, including DNA repair, concentration, microbial DNA sequestration or elimination, and other means of preparing DNA extracts well-suited for SNP sequencing.
• The contract will be for a period of 12 months.
• The contractor must have experience in genetic genealogy research and be capable of uploading data to GEDmatch and FTDNA.
• The contractor must be able to generate validated likelihood ratios for direct SNP-to-SNP comparisons made between forensic samples and reference samples.
