Description
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Aviation Division is seeking a qualified firm for professional services to prepare an Airport Layout Plan (ALP) Update with Narrative and include an 18B Obstruction Survey consistent with the latest version of the FAA Master Plan Advisory Circular. The scope of work includes updating aviation demand forecasts, determining current and future critical design aircraft, and assessing airfield design and landside hangar/business market. The successful firm will be selected based on their qualifications, experience, and technical approach. The firm must submit a response that includes their qualifications statement, project understanding, and technical approach.
• The response must be received in the TxDOT Aviation eGrants system no later than April 28, 2026, 2:00 PM (CST).
• The firm must have experience in airport planning and must provide information on their project understanding and technical approach.
• The firm must also provide a proposed project schedule, including the number of weeks necessary to complete the project.
• The selection committee will review and score the responses based on the evaluation criteria, which includes capability to perform the services, recent experience, ability to meet schedules and deadlines, and proposed technical approach and schedule.
