Consulting Services, SAP System Integration

The City of Newport News is seeking a qualified firm to provide consulting services for the migration and modernization of their SAP ECC IS-U solution to SAP S/4HANA. The scope of work includes project management, clean core and custom code rationalization, migration services, testing and quality assurance, transition planning, change management and training support, security and compliance, and post-go-live support. The selected firm will be responsible for ensuring a successful, secure, and cost-effective migration, leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities and minimizing system customizations. The project is expected to be completed within 12-15 months from the date of award. Key services include: • Project management and governance • Clean core and custom code rationalization • Migration services, including end-to-end migration of SAP IS-U and Materials Management • Testing and quality assurance • Transition planning and support • Change management and training support • Security and compliance • Post-go-live support, including hypercare and stabilization, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support. The City is looking for a firm with experience in SAP system integration, migration, and modernization, particularly in the water utility sector. The selected firm will be required to provide a detailed proposal, including a technical approach, project schedule, and pricing information.
