Request for Proposals for Canyon Power Plant Gas Marketing Services

The City of Anaheim is seeking a gas marketer to provide natural gas supply and balancing services for the Canyon Power Plant. The selected respondent will be responsible for managing all physical fuel supply and fuel imbalances for the plant, as well as providing gas scheduling, nominating, balancing, and billing services. The contract is expected to commence in Spring - Summer 2027 and will have a standard 3-year term with an option to extend for an additional three 1-year terms. Key aspects of the job include: * Providing natural gas supply and balancing services for the Canyon Power Plant * Managing all physical fuel supply and fuel imbalances for the plant * Providing gas scheduling, nominating, balancing, and billing services * Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations * Coordinating with Anaheim's Integrated Resources Planners to provide a schedule of natural gas demand and usage * Providing final market prices for Day Ahead and Intraday at SoCal Citygate point * Providing Bidweek prices for each month as soon as they are published for the SoCal Citygate point
