6550--Intent to Sole Source: Cepheid GeneXpert Infinity Molecular Reagents IDIQ

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source, fixed-priced single award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with Cepheid for the provision of molecular reagents for the Cepheid GeneXpert Infinity analyzer. The contract will be for a range of infectious disease testing, including MRSA, C. difficile, CRE, CT/NG, and others. The reagents are proprietary and only compatible with the Cepheid GeneXpert Infinity analyzer, which has already been purchased by the facility.
