The County of Alameda is seeking qualified vendors to supply and stock automotive parts for its General Services Agency-Motor Vehicles Department. The contract will be for a one-year term with the option to renew for four years. The vendor will be required to provide reliable and timely supply, stocking, and delivery of high-quality automotive parts to the County's facilities, maintaining at least 95% order fulfillment within required delivery timeframes. The vendor must also provide accurate pricing, inventory support, and reporting to sustain uninterrupted County fleet maintenance operations. Key responsibilities of the vendor include: • Providing automotive parts, including OEM and aftermarket equivalent parts • Maintaining a comprehensive catalog for product look-up and identification • Delivering products within specified timeframes, including a minimum of 95% of all product requests within one hour of the order being placed • Providing detailed monthly reports on usage exceptions, inventory, and shrinkage • Maintaining ready access to parts not normally stocked in inventory, including Dealer-only parts The County is committed to reducing environmental impacts across its entire supply chain and encourages vendors to provide environmentally friendly products and services.
