Tube Furnace

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis for a Tube Furnace. The tube furnace unit is manufactured by Across International and has a furnace chamber, elements, insulation and cooling, controller, and power supply all integrated into a single unit. It provides compatibility with existing equipment in material processing and is copyrighted by the manufacturer. The response must provide a clear and concise capability statement to show the ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. • The contract is for a Tube Furnace with a maximum temperature of 1800C and an 80x1000mm Alumina Tube with UL Cert. • The quantity required is 1 each. • The tube furnace unit must be compatible with existing equipment in material processing. • The unit must provide a furnace chamber, elements, insulation and cooling, controller, and power supply all integrated into a single unit. • The unit must fit within the limited footprint available in the laboratory.
