Springtree WTP Accelerators Re-Coating

The City of Sunrise is seeking a qualified contractor to remove and recoat the interior surfaces of four Lime Softener Accelerators at the Springtree Water Treatment Plant. The work includes full surface preparation, application of industrial protective coating systems, and recoating of associated catwalk frames, ensuring compliance with NSF/ANSI 61 for potable water contact surfaces. The project will be executed over four years, with one accelerator recoated each year, and must be coordinated to maintain continuous plant operation. • Replace deteriorated interior coating on four steel Lime Softener Accelerators (one per year). • Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals for surface preparation and coating application per manufacturer specifications. • Must have documented experience with industrial protective coatings for water/wastewater treatment facilities. • Work to be performed on‑site at 4350 Springtree Drive, Sunrise, FL, with a mandatory pre‑bid conference on August 20, 2026.
