Description
The Pease Development Authority is seeking a qualified contractor to provide on‑call snow plowing and mechanized salting services for its marine facilities in Portsmouth, Rye, and Hampton, NH. The contractor must be able to respond within two hours of a service call, work 24/7 during snow events, and adhere to specific protection procedures for a wooden dock and other infrastructure. The contract is a three‑year fixed‑price arrangement with two optional one‑year extensions, and the award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
• Perform plowing, back‑dragging, and salting at the Portsmouth Commercial Fish Pier, Rye Harbor, and Hampton Harbor facilities.
• Maintain a rapid 2‑hour response window and provide 24/7 on‑call coverage for snow and ice events.
• Hold required New Hampshire Green SnoPro and Commercial Salt Applicator certifications, and maintain specified insurance coverage.
