Description
The State of Maine is seeking a contractor to provide lawn care services for the Skowhegan Armory. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend for up to four additional years. The contractor will be responsible for mowing, trimming, and edging the lawn, as well as removing debris and trash. The contractor must also provide a disaster recovery plan in the event of an emergency situation.
The key responsibilities of the contractor will include:
- Mowing and trimming the lawn on a weekly basis
- Edging the lawn to maintain straight and sharp edges
- Removing debris and trash from the lawn and surrounding areas
- Providing a disaster recovery plan in the event of an emergency situation
The contractor will be evaluated based on their experience, qualifications, and pricing. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced bidder who meets the requirements of the solicitation.
• The contractor must have experience providing lawn care services to commercial or government facilities
• The contractor must have the necessary equipment and personnel to perform the required services
• The contractor must have a plan in place for handling emergency situations, such as a reduction in workforce
• The contractor must be able to provide certificates of insurance to the State
