Description
The Early County Board of Education is seeking bids from qualified lawn maintenance providers to provide services including mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing, weed spraying, hedge and shrub trimming, and strawing. The contract term is from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing lawn maintenance services to approximately 60.7 acres of land across multiple sites. Key services include:
• Mowing: bi-weekly during the growing season
• Weed eating, edging, and blowing: performed with each service visit
• Weed control / spraying: performed as needed, with a minimum of quarterly service
• Hedge and shrub trimming: performed as needed, with a minimum of quarterly service
• Strawing: performed two times per year, or as needed for erosion control or bare areas
The bidder must provide proof of general liability insurance prior to contract execution and comply with all applicable federal and state laws related to employment eligibility and work authorization.
