EMERGENCY FUEL SERVICES

The St. Tammany Parish Government is seeking a qualified vendor to establish a standby contract for emergency fuel supply and distribution services. The contract will provide priority allocation and delivery of fuel during declared emergency events. The vendor will be required to deliver fuel to designated locations, dispense fuel directly into parish-owned vehicles and equipment, and provide portable fuel storage tanks. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option of four additional one-year periods. The price for fuel will be based on the current OPIS index, plus a fixed delivery fee. • The vendor must have the ability to deliver fuel within two hours during an emergency event. • The vendor must provide and sustain fuel deliveries prior to, during, and after any natural or man-made disaster. • The vendor must distribute fuel from refineries/terminals to locations throughout the parish. • The vendor must dispense fuel into parish-owned bulk storage tanks and tanks for/on generators supporting critical infrastructure. • The vendor must furnish, deliver, set-up, and pick-up portable fuel storage tanks throughout the parish.
