Description
The US Government Publishing Office is seeking a contractor to produce 10,000 copies of a Junior Ranger Booklet. The booklet will have 16 text pages and a separate wraparound cover, with a trim size of 5.5 x 8.5 inches. The contractor will be required to perform a basic preflight check of the furnished media and publishing files to ensure correct output of the required reproduction image. The contractor will also be responsible for creating or altering any necessary trapping, setting proper screen angles and frequency, and defining proper file output selection for the imaging device being used.
Some key features of the project include:
• 4-color process printing
• Saddle stitch binding in 2 places on the 8.5-inch side
• Trim 3 sides, with grain running parallel to the spine
• Score on all folds, with no cracks or wrinkles acceptable
• Packing and shipping requirements, including marking cartons with job title, requisition number, and quantity
The contractor must also notify the ordering agency on the same day that the product ships or delivers, providing all applicable tracking numbers, shipping method, and title.
