Description
The Town of Shrewsbury is seeking bids for underground cable and fiber work. The contractor will be responsible for performing repairs as needed to the town's underground infrastructure, including excavation, installation, maintenance, and repairs of duct, conduit, cable, and utility work. The contractor must adhere to all safety requirements and OSHA regulations, use prevailing wages, and perform dig-safe and work with oversight from the town's Electric Operations and Cable Operations department.
• The contractor must have experience working with active underground cable and fiber plants.
• The contractor must be able to mobilize and start the project within 7 days of given assignment.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to prevailing wages and worker safety.
• The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and materials for the project.
• The contractor must ensure that all work is done in a safe and efficient manner, with minimal disruption to the town's operations.
