Early Childhood Education Wrap-Around Program Services

The Passaic Board of Education is seeking a qualified provider to deliver a developmentally appropriate wraparound early childhood program and curriculum at Schools No. 3, 6, 7, 15, and 24. The provider will be responsible for providing wraparound services for 245 days, including summer programs, and must have experience in operating preschool programs. The provider must also have a minimum of three years of experience as a provider of wrap-around services in NJ and be a DHS/DYFS Licensed Childcare Provider in NJ. The contract period will be from July 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026, for the summer program, and from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, for the regular school year. Some key requirements of the program include: • Providing wraparound services from 7:30 AM to 8:05 AM and 2:35 PM to 5:30 PM • Maintaining a record-keeping system to track student attendance and progress • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students during program hours • Providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum and program • Having a plan for cooperative communication within the school being served • Having a plan for parental involvement • Providing snacks and meals that are consistent with New Jersey Department of Agriculture guidelines • Paying the Board of Education one hour of custodial overtime for cleaning of the site after 5:30 PM.
