Description
Luzerne County is seeking proposals from qualified companies for Landscape Maintenance Services for the Luzerne County Operations Building's Raingarden and Pollinator Garden. The contract period will be for one year from the date of contract award with a possible one-year extension. The scope of work includes weekly/bi-weekly maintenance, lawn mowing, edging, trimming, blowing off sidewalks, raingarden and butterfly garden maintenance, and fertilization. The contractor must have a Master Gardner and/or Horticulturist on staff to review required maintenance and schedules prior to bidding.

• Raingarden and Pollinator/Butterfly Gardens maintenance
• Natural Double Shredded Bark installation
• Fertilization program
• Turf mowing
• Vegetation control
The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, labor, and tools required to perform the work. The contractor must also have a Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Business License Number and Category 6 or 7 for Ornamental and Shade Tree Pesticide Applications.
