Conex Containers for Austin Fire

The City of Austin is seeking to purchase refurbished or used Conex containers for the Austin Fire Department. The containers will be used for training props and to store training equipment and materials. The contract requires the delivery and installation of the containers within 30 calendar days after the order is placed. The contractor must provide Conex containers that meet the minimum material specifications, including being structurally sound, having two doors with standard locking bars, and being wind and watertight. The contractor must also provide insurance coverages and deliver the containers to the specified location. • The contract is for a one-time purchase. • The containers must be refurbished or used Conex containers. • The contractor must have a permanent operational facility and equipment for delivering and installing the containers. • The contractor must provide functional working business telephone and maintain it Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. • The City reserves the right to inspect the Conex containers before accepting them at no cost to the City.
