Laser Distance Measuring Tool

The City of Philadelphia Procurement Department is seeking bids for a laser distance measuring tool. The tool should be able to measure up to 165 feet and provide accuracy up to +/- 1/16 inch. It should also have a bright laser beam, easy-to-read display, and be IP65 rated to withstand jobsite conditions. The tool should allow users to add or subtract measurements and be compatible with a measuring app. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. • The laser distance measuring tool should have a point that's up to 4x brighter than standard red beams. • The tool should have an easy-to-read display that illuminates numbers with distinct resolution, for work in low-light or no-light conditions. • The tool should provide default real-time measurement that adjusts as you move closer and farther from the target. • The tool should be compatible with a measuring app that provides a clear digital project overview, including floor plans, measurements, photos, and notes.
