The City of Denton’s Solid Waste & Recycling Department seeks a comprehensive, cloud‑first routing and solid‑waste management software solution (SaaS preferred) that will support driver navigation, pre/post‑trip inspections, inventory management, dispatch/work‑order processing, billing integration, and optional video and GIS integrations. The contract is for an initial one‑year term with four optional one‑year renewals, covering 75 driver licenses initially (expected growth to ~150 in five years). The vendor must provide all software licenses, hardware (e.g., driver tablets), implementation services, training for ~143 staff, ongoing support, and integration with the City’s NorthStar billing system, Strong Data Automation landfill weight system, Samsara/3rdEye cameras, and ESRI ArcGIS. • Provide a SaaS routing platform with turn‑by‑turn navigation, auto‑completion, and photo/video capture. • Support pre‑ and post‑trip inspections customizable by vehicle type, with photo notes. • Manage inventory (containers) with bulk import, search, and status tracking. • Enable dispatch/work‑order creation, fee calculation, and export to NorthStar for billing. • Integrate with NorthStar (customer updates, billing export), Strong Data Automation (weight tickets), Samsara/3rdEye video, and ESRI ArcGIS. • Supply 75 (growing to ~150) driver tablets/licenses and associated hardware installation on vehicles. • Deliver training for 84 end‑users and 59 system administrators, plus five‑year support with optional extensions. • Submit sealed hard‑copy and electronic proposals via IonWave by 09/16/2026.
