Towing and Flat Bed Truck Services

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking bids for towing and flat bed truck services. The contract will be for an initial period of approximately 12 months, with the option to renew for four additional two-year periods. The vendor will be required to provide all equipment, materials, and labor to supplement the Commonwealth's needs. The vendor must maintain all applicable federal, state, and county licenses, certifications, registrations, permits, and insurance required for the operation of its business and performance of all services under the awarded contract. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing towing and flat bed truck services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on an as-needed basis • Maintaining tow trucks of adequate size and sufficient capacity to transport any size vehicle • Responding to staging location requests by the Commonwealth within a mutually agreed-upon timeframe • Defending, indemnifying, and holding the Commonwealth of Kentucky harmless for any damage sustained during hook-up and/or moving of vehicles caused by improper towing techniques • Complying with all applicable statutes, regulations, and policies related to this procurement
