Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking a Tokai Hit STXG-GSI2X stage top incubator for their Leica Stellaris 5 STED microscope. The incubator must provide accurate dynamic control of temperature, humidity, CO2, and oxygen to maintain required cell culture conditions for live cell confocal and STED super-resolution imaging. The stage top incubator controller must have two feedback modes, chamber temperature or specimen temperature, and must continuously monitor the room temperature to maintain specimen temperature within a set point anywhere between 25-50 degrees Celsius. • The incubator must have a built-in digital gas mixer controller that accepts 100% CO2 from lab supply to regulate CO2 concentration at the sample. • The incubator must have an internal humidifier to sense sample chamber humidity. • The electrically heated stage top incubator chamber must have magnets for easy interchange of specimen holders. • The incubator must include a flexible heated collar that accommodates a range of objective lens diameters.

Budget estimate

$10,000 – $50,000

The budget for this opportunity is likely to be in the range of $10,000 to $50,000, considering the cost of a stage top incubator and the fact that it is a laboratory apparatus. The NIH is a well-funded institution, and the cost of the incubator is likely to be a significant portion of the overall budget for the project. However, without more information about the project's scope and requirements, it is difficult to provide a more precise estimate.
