Intent to Sole Source -Repair of Spare EDG Governors

The Naval Sea Systems Command is providing notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed price service contract to Drake Controls-West, LLC for the repair of two spare Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) Governors. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and the period of performance shall be from approximately 22 December 2025 through 24 February 2026. The work includes troubleshooting, overhauling, and restoring the EDG governors to OEM specifications. • The contractor must be the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) authorized service provider for the EDG Governors. • The contractor must have the technical data and expertise required to repair and overhaul the EDG Governors. • The contractor must deliver the completed data sheet with the governor. • The contractor must accomplish calibration as specified by Puget Sound Naval Shipyard per the Governor Data Sheet provided.
