FARMVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT, REPLACEMENT OF PAPIS ON RUNWAY 3-21

The Town of Farmville is seeking bids for the replacement of PAPIs on Runway 3-21 at Farmville Regional Airport. The scope of work includes demolishing the existing incandescent 2-unit PAPI systems and replacing them with new 4-unit LED PAPI systems, replacing the existing PAPI Constant Current Regulator, installing new conduit and cable, and performing other related tasks. The successful bidder will be required to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work. The project is anticipated to be funded in part by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and will be subject to applicable federal regulations. • The project includes the replacement of PAPI systems on both ends of the runway. • The successful bidder will be required to provide a detailed project schedule prior to beginning work. • The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act. • The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of the total contract price.
