Intent to Sole Source- Mustang Dynamometer

The United States Air Force intends to sole source a contract to Mustang Dynamometer for the procurement of a Mustang Dynamometer Upgrade. The upgrade includes a PowerDyne Control System, a Neccessory Package, a 5-Gas analyzer system, and onsite installation assistance and training. The Government does not possess the necessary information to manufacture the equipment/items solicited from any source other than the OEM. • The contract is for a specific set of equipment and services, including a PowerDyne Control System, a Neccessory Package, a 5-Gas analyzer system, and onsite installation assistance and training. • The Government does not possess the necessary information to manufacture the equipment/items solicited from any source other than the OEM. • The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. • All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice, but the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.103-1.
