Description

The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) is hosting a Proposers' Day to introduce the Intelligent Generator of Research (IGoR) program goals and vision to the research community. The program aims to create an AI-enabled interoperable research ecosystem to accelerate the development of effective therapies for complex diseases. The IGoR program will be accomplished over 3 sequential program Phases, with a total duration of 60 months. The program comprises four technical areas: Digital Twins of Disease, New Science Engine, Interoperable Experimental Procedures, and Experimental Marketplace. • The IGoR program will develop mechanistic disease models, an AI orchestration layer, a layered protocol architecture, and a distributed marketplace of validated laboratories. • The program will be open to potential proposers, commercialization partners, and other stakeholders. • The Proposers' Day will include presentations, Question & Answer sessions, and poster sessions to foster potential teaming arrangements. • Interested parties are invited to submit a teaming profile to highlight their technical capabilities and interests.

Budget estimate

$10,000,000 – $50,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific budget or funding amount. However, based on the scope and complexity of the IGoR program, it is likely that the funding will be substantial, potentially in the tens of millions of dollars. The program's focus on accelerating the development of effective therapies for complex diseases and creating an AI-enabled interoperable research ecosystem suggests that the funding will be significant. Additionally, the program's duration of 60 months and the involvement of multiple technical areas and stakeholders may also impact the funding amount. A rough estimate for the budget could be between $10 million and $50 million.
