The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is seeking bids for the replacement of fuel dispensers at their Wheatland location. The project involves replacing existing fuel dispensers with new ones that meet the required specifications. The bid document includes technical specifications for the fuel dispensers, including compatibility, LCD display, totalizers, hand-held remote control, fuel control system interface, meter, pumping unit, motor, electrical, internal filter, inlet connection, discharge, flow control valve, satellite connection, cabinet construction, cabinet finish, lighted product ID panels, nozzle boot, hose hanger, and actual dimensions.
• The fuel dispensers must be compatible with low viscosity petroleum fuels, including diesel, biodiesel blends, gasoline, and kerosene.
• The LCD display must be backlit and have a 1.5” seven-digit volume display and a ½” four-character status display per hose.
• The totalizers must be 7-digit electromechanical non-resettable per hose.
• The hand-held remote control must be able to access totals, diagnostics, and configure the dispenser via LCD without opening the cabinet.
• The fuel control system interface must be Wayne protocol with optional pulse output.
• The meter must be a reliable, micro-accurate 2-piston positive displacement iMeter fuel meter with integral intelligent pulser.
• The pumping unit must be a positive displacement, self-priming, gear-type pumping unit with integral centrifugal air separator and adjustable bypass valve.
• The motor must be a 1-HP continuous duty with thermal overload protection.
• The electrical must be 120/240VAC 50/60Hz.
• The internal filter must be a 10-micron particulate filter for EC models and a 30-micron hydrosorb filter for SHC models.
• The inlet connection must be a 1 ½” female NPT for EC models and a 2” female NPT for SHC models.
• The discharge must be a 1” female NPT for EC models and a 1” NPT for SHC models.
• The flow control valve must be a proportional 24VDC 7/8” valve for EC models and a proportional 24VDC 7/8” valve for SHC models.
• The satellite connection must be a 1 ½” female NPT for SHC master models.
• The cabinet construction must be heavy gauge galvannealed steel for superior weather and corrosion resistance.
• The cabinet finish must be powder-coated metallic silver sides and top with blue doors.
• The lighted product ID panels must be LED light strips that illuminate product ID panels.
• The nozzle boot must fit UL interchangeable nozzles.
• The hose hanger must keep the hose off the island when not in use.
• The actual dimensions must be 32.25” W x 19.38” D x 63.3” H.
The bid document also includes options for the fuel dispensers, such as a hose mast, cabinet finish, stainless steel panels, iX Fleet terminal, and internal hose retractor.
