The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County is seeking a qualified general contractor to design‑build a new two‑story athletic field house at Chesapeake High School. The scope includes full civil/site work, structural steel, concrete, roofing, mechanical (HVAC), electrical, plumbing, fire‑stopping, a modest retaining wall, chain‑link fence, and a 3,000‑gal septic system, plus a $5,000 office‑furniture allowance. The contractor is responsible for all permits, testing, inspections, and must meet a 10 % in‑house labor requirement; no prevailing‑wage rules apply. Key points:
