Machine Shop Services

The Town of Amherst is seeking proposals from qualified respondents to perform off-site welding, metal fabrication, repair, and machine shop services. The successful bidder will be awarded based on the lowest cost. The contract will be for a term of two years, with the option to extend for two successive periods of equal length. The bidder will be required to provide an hourly labor rate for welding, metal fabrication, and machine shop services, as well as a percentage mark-up for parts and materials. The bidder will also be required to provide reverse-engineering of shop drawings and CAD drawing services.
