Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the cost of whole blood and blood products. According to the American Red Cross, the cost of a unit of whole blood can range from $150 to $300. Assuming an average cost of $225 per unit, and considering the number of healthcare facilities and patients served, the total budget for this contract could be in the range of $500,000 to $2 million per year, depending on the volume of blood products required. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of patients served, the frequency of blood transfusions, and the cost of therapeutic services.
