RFQ County Surveyor Services

The Glenn County Public Works Agency is seeking a qualified consultant to provide County Surveyor services on an as-needed basis. The selected consultant will be expected to provide a California Licensed Professional Land Surveyor(s) qualified to perform or oversee survey services requested by the County. The scope of work includes checking of maps, legal descriptions, and other documents for technical accuracy and conformance with County Codes and the Subdivision Map Act. The contract will be for a five-year period, with a total amount not to exceed $20,000. The consultant will be required to provide hourly rates for performing the requested services, and the County reserves the right to negotiate specific terms, conditions, compensation, and provisions on any contracts that may arise from this solicitation. Some key responsibilities of the consultant will include: • Checking preliminary, tentative, and final subdivision/parcel maps for technical accuracy and conformance with County Code and the Subdivision Map Act • Checking lot line adjustments and mergers for technical accuracy and conformance with County Code and the Subdivision Map Act • Checking certificates of compliance for technical accuracy and conformance with County Code and the Subdivision Map Act • Checking records of survey for technical accuracy and conformance with County Code and the Subdivision Map Act • Checking corner records for technical accuracy and conformance with County Code and the Subdivision Map Act
