Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide environmental compliance support services, including development of a Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP) and Storm Water MS4 Phase 2 permit. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary means, methods, equipment, expertise, incidentals, labor, materials, supervision, supplies, transportation, and qualified personnel to perform the required tasks. The contract will be for a period of one year, and the contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Some key requirements for the contractor include:
* Providing a work plan and Health and Safety Plan prior to commencement of work
* Ensuring that all personnel employed by the contractor comply with applicable federal, state, and VA safety and fire regulations and codes
* Obtaining a Contractor I.D Badge from the VA Police for all contractor personnel
* Complying with the requirements of Executive Order 13899, Combating Anti-Semitism
* Providing certification from its insurance company indicating that the required insurance coverage has been obtained
* Submitting an original invoice and three copies to the designated address for payment.
