Description
The State of North Dakota is seeking a single contractor to provide comprehensive managed services for its mainframe environment, covering hardware, software, operations, security, disaster recovery, and migration planning. The effort includes 24x7 support for core mainframe applications, performance tuning, capacity planning, batch‑processing management, and compliance with FedRAMP/StateRAMP security standards. The contract will run for a two‑year initial term starting January 1 2027, with optional renewals, and the award is expected in early December 2026.
• Manage z/OS, DB2, CICS, ADABAS, NATURAL, Software AG, and related mainframe software lifecycle (patches, upgrades, licensing).
• Provide hardware management, storage administration, virtual‑tape support, and optional hosted‑as‑a‑service migration compliant with FedRAMP.
• Deliver 24×7 incident response, performance monitoring, capacity planning, annual DR testing, and monthly status reporting, while meeting strict security, RPO/RTO, and data‑residency requirements.
