Budget estimate

$200,000 – $800,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the scope of work and the duration of the project. The contractor will be performing DNA extraction and quantification services for approximately 12,000 REGARDS participant biospecimens. The cost of these services can range from $10 to $50 per sample, depending on the complexity of the services and the equipment used. Therefore, the total budget for the contract can be estimated to be between $120,000 and $600,000. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for repository handling, preparation, and shipment of extracted DNA samples, which can add to the overall cost of the contract. The budget can also be influenced by the cost of labor, equipment, and materials. Considering these factors, a reasonable estimate for the budget would be between $200,000 and $800,000.
