Design Services for Orlando Flood Mitigation by Drainwell Replacement (Block Grant)

The City of Orlando is seeking qualified engineering consultants to design, permit, and oversee the replacement or repair of 13 aging drainage wells in low‑to‑moderate income neighborhoods. The work includes a conditions assessment (sub‑surface utility survey, well inventory, feasibility), conceptual design, detailed construction‑level drawings, permitting, bid‑phase support, construction administration, and post‑construction reporting to satisfy FEMA CDBG‑DR grant requirements. The consultant must manage sub‑consultants, coordinate with the Florida DEP, and deliver a complete design package by the grant performance end date of February 2030. The contract is expected to run for approximately 43 months from award.
