This opportunity involves the design‑build of a new scale‑house building, associated truck‑scale equipment, and extensive site improvements at the City of Salina Municipal Solid Waste Landfill. The scope covers demolition of existing structures, civil works (culverts, drainage, septic system, utility lines), paving, traffic control hardware, electrical and mechanical systems, and construction of a FEMA‑rated building with integrated digital truck scales. The contractor must manage all phases, maintain existing two‑lane access, and ensure the current scale remains operational until the new scales are functional. • Demolition of existing scale house, fence, and concrete culverts. • Installation of new 48‑in. RCP culvert, HDPE drainage, septic tank, water/sewer lines, and utility conduit. • Construction of a 75 kVA diesel‑generator‑powered scale‑house building with fire‑rated storm‑shelter wall, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. • Supply and install two 50‑ton electronic load‑cell truck scales, remote‑operated slide gate, lighting, signage, fencing, and site‑wide paving and erosion controls.
