Description
The Springfield Water and Sewer Commission is seeking bids for the replacement of a 45-ton bridge crane at the Cobble Mountain Hydrostation. The project involves the removal and replacement of the existing crane, which is a double girder, top running bridge crane with a single main hook of 45-ton rated capacity. The new crane will operate on the existing runway and rail with minor modifications.
• The project is estimated to not exceed $500,000.
• A mandatory pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for April 1st, 2026, at 11:00 AM EDT.
• All questions regarding the bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Chief Procurement Officer by April 17, 2026.
