22 Bus Stop Improvements

The Lee County Board of County Commissioners is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide construction and improvement services for 22 bus stops in Lee County, Florida. The project includes ADA compliance and associated sidewalk improvements. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, services, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, skills, and incidentals required to complete the project. The project involves various tasks such as mobilization, maintenance of traffic, sediment barrier installation, clearing and grubbing, excavation, embankment, concrete sidewalk and driveway construction, and performance turf sod installation. • The project requires compliance with Federal Grant Requirements and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations. • The contractor must register with and use the E-Verify system to confirm the employment eligibility of all new hires. • The contractor must comply with Florida Statutes Sections 287.138 and 787.06. • The contractor must provide a bid bond and other required attachments. • The contractor must acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions, insurance requirements, and special conditions of the contract.
