Description
The City of Fort Morgan is seeking a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) for the Fort Morgan Aquatic Center Addition project. The project involves the construction of a 27,000+ square foot addition to the existing Fieldhouse, including a recreational pool, lap pool, warm water pool, spa pool, and slides, as well as locker rooms, party rooms, and support spaces. The selected CMGC will work with the City and the architect to verify the project construction budget and provide value engineering, constructability improvements, and cost tracking prior to finalizing the design development and construction documents.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Site improvements, including new asphalt service driveway, parking lot, and hardscape
• Construction of a new PEMB structure with 2-hour fire separation to the existing Fieldhouse
• Installation of mechanical and electrical support systems
• Pool dehumidification unit and RTU’s
• Operable acoustical partitions and telescoping glass door systems
The budget for the construction is approximately $25-28 million, including contingencies and escalation to construction in 2027.
